blue ruffle shirt

Summer is coming to an end, even though it's starting to feel like fall!!  Can you believe it?!  I am definitely not going to miss the heat, but I will miss the ability to over use Lilly and nautical looking clothes.  Something I love about wearing light blue denim and white together is that other than summer and fall I don't think you can't wear it in winter and spring.

I know a lot of bloggers get a lot of questions about transitioning into fall with clothes. I will be writing a specific post on this in a week or two.  This outfit works, I'm telling you!  I think it's almost a little like a last hoorah before I officially start wearing sweaters, leggings, boots, and big sweat shirts. (Oh, and Uggs, of course!)  I am actually so excited for fall because of the outfits I am sharing.  This is my last "summer like" outfit.  My next outfit that I will be sharing soon (so follow instagram) will be something nautical to wear when it gets a little chilly.

Ok, here's the good stuff, let's get shopping!  Or maybe just a little twirling around!

The shirt is currently only $30!  What a steal!  If I were you I would definitely grab one for next summer or this weekend!

active old navy clothes

Last week I went shopping and stopped at Old Navy.  I knew I already had athletic clothes, but I saw some more and you know me, I got them.  I have to say, I am impressed with most of Old Navy's clothes, but their athletic wear is great!  They have a ton of options, not my favorite patterns but I can manage with solid black leggings anytime.  Continue reading for all the information on this outfit.

I got these clothes, and decided to share them with you.  The shirt I still haven"t decided if I like it a little or love it.  Lately I have seen all the workout tanks or shirts with "real life quotes" kind of like, "I'd rather be eating pizza" or "I woke up like this."  I haven't decided if they are too corny or they are awesome.  Anyways, I got the tank, which is realistic.  If I'm working out I don"t care about what my hair looks like. The material definitely sticks to you, which I don't like because I will sweat a lot and it is a bit see through.  The bottom also isn't a straight line, it  curves a bit.

I really like this shirt/workout sweater.  It is completely breathable and I think the color is a little different so it gives you that pop!  I would recommend getting it on sale because it will be nice to use for the fall.  During this shoot I was sweating in the 90 degree + heat.  I can't wait to use it for fall-it's not to hot or cold and the color reminds me of fall.

The most questions I've received are about my capri leggings.  My leggings are from Gap Fit and they are my absolute favorite leggings that I own I wear them at least two to three times a week.  Since I have bought them the color and style has gone out of style.  Careful read closely.

Here are almost the same leggings a little more of a purple color from the same company.  They are also available in black, pink, and navy.   Lulu lemon also carries capris in almost the same color, but they are on the higher end of the price range.

shop the rest of the look:  tank // long sleeve shirt

As I said a few days ago I hydrate using my Sip x Swell bottle from Target.  I absolutely love it and it keeps me refreshed throughout the whole workout!  Shop (only $25)

farm romper

I recently went to a farmer's market.  I looked in my closet for the best thing to wear and came up with this romper which recently went on sale, it's only 20 dollars!!  I actually didn't think these photos would go this well, and match the farm style, but they did.  Shop the romper on the last picture-which actually is my favorite picture of all!

While actually in the market I had my wicker bag, which I absolutely love.  What can I say?  I can't resist the classic summer look that it places on whoever carries it!  Also in the actual market I got some fresh berries, honey, watermelon, and of course, peaches!  The strawberries, as you can see in the photos are so so so ripe and as soon as they got in my kitchen they smelled like they were picked fresh off the vine!  I do recommend getting some this year!

Love this outfit?  The romper just went on sale and is only $20!!

espadrille wedges

I have been dying to share this post with you.  I wore these shoes when I went to a party in this sweet, little town I wrote about yesterday.  If you didn't see this pictures from that post take a look!  The photos are great if I say so myself. :) Anyways, I went there and I knew the town had a very nautical look/feel.  Straight in my mind I think immediately of Nantucket and what I would wear there.  I'm sure those of you who follow Design Darling or Lemon Stripes have seen a shoe that looks like this one recently.  Actually, you can shop the shoes they wore below and my favorites!

I got these pairs of shoes from T.J. Maxx, their actual store and if you shop at T.J. Maxx you know they have a really varied selection their stores.  They also don't have a lot of options on their website. I am sure if you went to a few stores you would find this pair, but it will take a long time. :(

here are my favorite espadrille wedges:

not a lot of them have the suede tip

off the shoulder look alike

Good Morning!  Today is the kick off of my new and improved, healthier lifestyle!  I am currently drinking a green smoothie, with kale in it (yes, kale)!  And I don't even taste it!

This outfit, I wore this on a road trip and I would say do not wear it on a windy day.  I think it's a really simplistic look, but the ruffles give it that touch that makes it look more dressy, for any occasion.  I got this dress from Zara and it is still in stores, but unfortunately it is no longer on the website.  I found some look a likes that are relatively inexpensive and under $100.  Shop this hat and the shoes I wore below too.

casual july 4th outfit

Happy 4th of July everyone! As you know the fourth of July is normally a hot or a very warm day.  I don't know about you, but I always want to look festive even before the party and fireworks.  The hot does get to me, so wearing this outfit in the morning and the dress just for the just the party later in the afternoon really works. And can you see those hydrangea photos I snuck in the background and this post.  These are by far my favorite pictures I've gotten of them in a while!

Also...the shirt and shorts I am wearing are not available any longer. I did not get a picture of the shoes I was wearing, but to let you know I was wearing the classic jack rogers.  I am wearing this Alex and Ani lobster charm bracelet, which may I add I love!!  My favorite part of this outfit by far was the hat! Right now the navy and red American flag hats are sold out-they will be restocked soon to gear up for next year!  Even though the navy (what I have) and the red are sold out a mint green and white American flag hat is available now.
