I promised myself that I would not post anything about fall until I saw leaves fall from a tree, and I kept that promise. The other day I was peacefully relaxing on a porch, when I looked and saw some leaves fall from the tree.
I am so excited for fall, especially because fall and winter are my favorite seasons. Fall for me means getting ready for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and an everyday outfit of a baggy/oversized sweater and leggings, and ladies pull out those Uggs! I don't know about you, but I love that type of outfit for everyday, but don't worry I have many different outfit posts that don't involve a just that, but as a warning, some posts do have that!
Adding Pops of Color
When I think of fall colors, I think pretty bland colors like all shades of browns and tans. Every once in a while you will see a red leaf though, so I try to turn the colors of fall and the trees into my color palette. With this outfit, I will say for the most part it is bland, but pops of red here and there make it come alive.
1. Kate Spade Purse
Kate Spade has been known for bright and bold colors and handbags. The color from the purse in these photos make you look, and see, because of the bold, loud, and bright color. Believe me, no one would think it is just another boring outfit.
2. Head Band
This is not shown in any photos, but just adding a thin bright red head band, makes you stand out just a little more than you did before. I love a thin, eye-drawing head band, that is just enough to draw yourself a little attention, in a good way.
3. Nail Polish
Even the smallest details make you stand out, even some nail polish. For the photo shoot I was debating whether I should put on some nail polish, but I ended up opting out. I didn't put any on because I wanted you all to see the vision. With this outfit, I would have personally could have gone with four colors, nude, navy, bright red, or dark red.
What color nail polish would you have done?
See you Monday!
