instagrams i'm lovin

I am always up for some inspiration, so when I go to my instagram I like to see some bright colors and farms, but also I like instagrams that are true and genuine.

I am one of those people that a rustic styled home with touches of farm life.  An instagram filled with animals, family, and may I mention, inside looks at Fixer Upper, by far my favorite show, is the idea of perfect feed.

I love Mackenzie's blog and boutique, but her instagram is even better.  It's filled with the best pictures of interiors, travels, and style. Trust me, when you check out her feed you will be wowed with the pops of colors, amazing views, and more!

Emily Ley, is possibly my favorite, most authentic instagrams I have seen. It's about her company, her life, and her kids.  It's has pictures of her planners to kids to laundry! Plus, there are sales, almost every Sunday night.

I love Inslee's instagram! It's filled with her art (which I will say I love) and her new creations, with a pop up of her adorable dog, Ophelia (@opheliaofficial).

a peacoat and stripes

As I have said before, transitioning from to winter to spring is always a hard, especially when you have to find the perfect style for cold, warm, or cool weather.  This outfit is so perfect because when it's cold, you have one layer and a thick coat.  When it gets warm, you have an lighter layer, that is great for cool weather.  Unfortunately the purse is unavailable now, but it's a perfect example of how to show a little color for spring time, which is just around the corner!  Shop and copy the look below!

kate spade purse // old navy peacoat // j.crew jeans // saint james shirt

(same shirt and pants, not the same coat)

adding color to your wardrobe

Sometimes spring clothes can mean simplistic and neutral colors, and I don't really think of too bright of colors or bold patterns.  I sometimes think it looks a little crazy, but many times I find it necessary.  Here are a few tips on how to spruce up your wardrobe and style!

+ don't be afraid
Get outside the box, but only one pattern and make sure that the rest of your clothing items are solid colors.  Be fun, don't be ordinary with your clothing, be extra ordinary.

+ be subtle
Even though you shouldn't be afraid and you should be bold, just not too bold.  Don't mix a lot of patterns, as mentioned before, just be fun, not crazy!

+ be you
Don't forget that you have to be you, but sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone.

hats

One thing that I love is how the sun really comes out during the spring, and even more in the summer.  On thing I need, other than sunscreen and some sunglasses, is a good hat, preferably a large rimmed, floppy hat with lots of protection. I found so many hats that  I'm loving right now. Just to let you know, some of these hats are on the high end price wise and some a reasonable.

I love these hats, so much, I just can't wait to get my hands on one of them to buy!
Any suggestions?
